While I’m asking for help, might as well finally get to something I’ve been meaning to ask for a couple of weeks. A friend of mine is about to go from desktop to laptop and I’ve been pushing him to switch to a Mac in the same move. In theory he is convinced, has seen mine in action, read on OSX, is impressed and interested in the BSD foundation and how he can use the machine. Problem; he would like to have a trial run of a few days or weeks to really test it out. Does anyone know of a place or person in Montreal who might be able to rent or lend a Powerbook or iBook?
