Once again, I’m linking to something that various people have linked already but it’s really worth the read so you should check out the Time Magazine piece Meet Joe Blog, a rare clear and comprehensive mass media look at blogging. Keep it bookmarked and forward it next time people get that “huhhh??” look on their face when you say blog.
Then again, it shouldn’t happen much anymore. While watching BBC World I saw a 60 year old Alabama (or Kentucky or something) Senator talking about how “if you follow the blogs you know about things way ahead of tv news”. At a time when an Alabama 60 some year old politician refers to blogs, your buddies really should already know what it is.
