I’ve been swimming in crap this week (I know, thanks for the image Pat) and this completely slipped my mind. The guys at Ïle Sans Fil launched a new project, HAL is connecting communities to their artists.
HAL is a technological and cultural project aiming to improve Montrealers connection with local culture. HAL assists Montrealers in discovering local artists and media producers by making their works available via wireless jukeboxes located at select Ile Sans Fil hotspots. As easy to use as opening up iTunes, HAL brings high-speed streaming of video and audio together with location-relevant media.
This is a very promising initiative and is finally getting into the content part of Michael’s initial vision for the group, I’m looking forward to listening to what the team comes up with.
