Batman: Dead End

Wow! A short fanfilm showing a new Batman adventure. Excellent in all aspects, loved it. Great lighting, music, a couple of big surprises, lots of camera angles which isnt very common in shorts like this, costumes are fantastic… awesome* job.

Archangel is another movie by the same guy, Sandy Collora. Brilliantly made, great visuals. Not sure what the hell is going on and why everyone is dressed in bdsm gear though.

*I’ve just said cool and awesome in the last two posts, if I start saying righteous or stoked maybe I should move to california and start surfing.

Blork made me notice that I say “trippy”. He also made me notice that it’s a California thing. I had no clue, not being a native English speaker.

Now I can’t get trippy out of my mind. Maybe I’ll replace it with righteous. Or stoked.

Nice to see a good interpreation of a pre-burton batman.

It was way too short. Want more! I wonder if there will be a sequel…

I GOT MORE TO SAY!! This was a great short idependant film. I’ts probly the only dc/dark horse, marvel/dc crossover ever made. Perfect fight chorehography. Predator is great. Looks great. Perfect to the comic book for Batman’s costume. Koeing (Joker) was a good, menacing Joker, but he isn’t no Nichoalson. Gotham’s alley is looking like crime alley(where Tom and Mary Wayne were murdered.)Dark, wet, and cold is Batman. The bat knives are excellent. Sandy Collora is a Burton-like director. True to the fans.(Sandy is a little bit closer to the comics) No rubber. No emblem(yellow).Just a cross of Jim Lee/Alex Ross costume. I WANT A SEQUAL. It will be great. D.C., please give Dead End permission to sell for dvd. For the next Batman movie, I see Collora and Burton working together for a sick, sick best Batman film ever. Sandy said he does it because he loves Batman. Well, there’s an Academy Award for best Director. Just do what you love.
Adios!!!!
