…we’re living in a world that resembles nothing so much as dozens and dozens of overlapping, really lurid science-fiction scenarios. Any attempt at literary naturalism in 2003 will bring the author into direct contact with material that 20 years ago would have been barely publishable as science fiction.
Cant wait for Pattern Recognition to come out in paperback (damned hardcovers are just too expensive, even for a Gibson), should be another great read.
