Yesterday everyone was linking to various stories saying that Apple was in talks to buy Universal Music. Today it seems like it’s already not happening anymore or at least not very serious. I’m unsure as to wether it’s a good idea for Apple or not but for the moment David’s view of it makes the most sense to me.
Update: Barry says something similar, I especially like the “no obvious synergy”, “I think that’s a good thing” part, considering pretty much every big synergy play as been a failure…
