Things are going remarkably well for Apple, profits are at an all time high and so are revenues, based largely on an insane amount of iPods being sold. A 425% year to year rise to 6.3 million units. Desktops are also up a good 50% and laptops at a slight rise. If the switch to Intel next year goes well laptops should see sales climbing a lot quicker too.

As my stock analyst used to tell me, “Trees don’t grow to the sky”. But at least relatively few people today are predicting Apple’s demise. (We’ll always have a few holdouts of course.)
