1 million in 1 week

I don’t know what it will take for studios to come on board with the iTunes store but seeing Disney sell 1 million worth of movies in the first week is probably a good first step in convincing them.

There might be other issues preventing them from jumping on board. Such as price, Apple’s strongarming strategies, and long-term partnership strategies with other companies.
On the other hand, the movie industry has typically shown itself to get the clue a bit more quickly than the RIAA (which isn’t saying much).

Of course it is. I don’t care if they like it or not, I want the store to work well enough that they feel they don’t have a choice, get in, make it a success so Apple can expand to Canada and I can use it ;).
