Vancouver = ‘Couver, The Couv.

New-York = NY, The Big Apple, Gotham

San-Francisco = Sanfran, Frisco (they don’t like one of those but I can’t remember which!)

Philadelphia = Philly

Detroit = Motor City

New-Orleans = ‘norlans (that’s just pronunciation though), The Big Easy
