Fans of Star Wars will have flashback to the R2D2 projected princess Leia help message when they read this article presenting video screens that are actually images projected in the air or in clouds of water vapor. Very cool, especially the IO2 Technology prototype, still in development and the resolution isn’t super but still very impressive technology.
