Google launches a “more officially” bundled version of their Google apps and now have a paying package aimed squarely at Microsoft. I’ll be interested in seeing IT departments’ reactions to this and wetter it gets a good amount of market in larger companies.
I don’t really see how a browser based, online, hosted service can be more interesting to those guys than all the office suites that have died against MS. Less maintenance and no installation for sure but everything else is the opposite of what IT usually goes for. Of course, I don’t think larger companies are necessarily Google’s target either so might be a moot point for now.
