Big Brother Isn’t Always a Bad Guy

Now that Google maps offer satellite views of their maps, some people are starting to think it’s not all that funny to have a camera that close to their head. Seems the info is about two years old but still, a bit weird.

Already though, some people are thinking up ways of using that to have “small” people collectively become big brothers to environmental criminals. Dave already did this with some shots of pretty serious forestry cuts in BC.

Here are some I’ve picked up from this map of the Rouyn Noranda region. Some areas barely have anything left.
