Clay Shirky as a detailed opinion concerning the futur of the music industry “without the music industry” and Dave gives the weblog spin. Seems to me like another angle on the current trend concerning nanopublishing but in the case of music the threshold of publishing isnt quite as low, you need a lot more of (expensive) bandwith to support something like a “garagelog”, makes it quite a bit harder. Maybe some kind of group storage would be something to look into, a way of getting together for lower bandwith price?
