Tropic of Cancer by Henry Miller
On The Road by Jack Kerouac
The Catcher in the Rye by J.D. Salinger
Slaughterhouse Five by Kurt Vonnegut
1984 by George Orwell
A Clockwork Orange by Anthony Burgess
That’s pretty much it. My thing is that once I dig a book, I read all of the author’s other books. But I’ve been definitely trying to read a lot of the books on that list.
Nope, haven’t read the Hitchhiker’s. When I was into Sci-Fi more I wasn’t interested in a spoof and now that I might like to read it because it’s funny I read almost to Sci-Fi.
Yeah I have a lot of overlap, 7 out of 8 from the editor’s list are also on the reader’s list.
There’s also a lot of books on those lists that I’ve ment to get around to and some I can’t believe I haven’t yet, like 1984 for example.
