The project manager sent modifications this morning for a batch of templates on the project we’re finishing up this week. One of the other integrators said “I’ll finish up G’s modifications” so I said “So you’ll finish modifying G this morning? Could take longer than that, he needs a lot of changes.”. After saying that my thought was “wouldn’t it be nice if you could re-roll people”. Haven’t played in something like 12 years and those things still pop in my head, couldn’t I just archive this on DVD or something? (that’s a different type of geeky)

could you explain this? what does “re-roll” mean and what would it mean in this context?
In roleplaying games, when you create your character, you roll each ability (there are various techniques) with, most of the time, 3 six-sided dices. I was thinking it would be great to re-roll the dices for the project manager’s IQ.
hahahaha :)
I sometimes think of the people I know in terms of their various attributes. Str, Int, Wis, Dex, Con, Cha. Maybe that’s what they should have on dating sites. A series of numbers like a barcode.
lightspeedchick: Shows you haven’t played D&D in a while! Now it’s Str Dex Con Int Wis Cha… BOOYAH.
Boris: I don’t believe that you’ve never played a role-playing game.
lsc: Not sure how much Con and Str would help me on a dating site. ;)
julien: What did you change except for the order??
Never have. I tried once in 5th grade. Spent about 1/2 hour trying to create a character and forgot about it. No judgement. Not my thing.
