There have been a few stories and posts in regards to the recent deal between Microsoft and AOL concerning IE and Netscape but I think Zeldman is the first to show all aspects and give a good overview. Funny how not that long ago all web developers were praising IE and how it’s suddenly lagging standards wise compared to Mozilla, Firebird, Safari, Opera and all. I agree with the assesment, it’s just funny to see how quickly the situation changed, took a long time to get those versions out but praising and switching to them vs IE was quick. Too bad it doesnt change so fast in terms of which browser the general public uses.
