[Update] And Harry is going to Detroit for the Auto Show, courtesy of GM.

Parlant de MacWorld, j’ai juste deux notes;

  • If there’s an iPhone it probably won’t do what I want/need so I’ll be torn.
  • Please, please, please don’t come out with new MacBook Pros. PLEASE. Especially not black anodized versions. Seriously, don’t.

If there is an Apple Phone I expect it’ll be more of a multi-service mobile chat client than a GSM or other kind of cellphone per se, maybe leveraging wifi, VOIP gateways and the thousands of miles of dark fiber in the ground for bandwidth. Maybe more of a blackberry / sidekick killer than anything else?

I’d be pleasingly astonished if that’s the case.

I’m expecting something more along the lines of the Moto Pebl merged with an iPod, very minimal functionalities.

if it doesn’t do what you want/need, don’t be torn; it’s not for you. Brand fetishism?

It slices, it dices, it juliennes!

Like checking email in a halfway usable way, ideally through wifi so I don’t have to use the insultingly bad Canada data plans.
