A new Amazing Race season is starting so, to try and keep my streak going, here are my predictions. Sadly, I don’t really “click” for any teams so I’m not expecting my results to be on par with the last two.
- Erwin and Godwin (predestined names, you have to admit)
- Tyler and James. I might actually get burned with those guys and they could finish ahead of the xxxwins but I hope not.
- Kellie and Jamie. I actually had them 2nd the first time I saved this post but as I clicked every link to make sure they were good, I noticed they’re both 22, a bit young to hold it together the whole race.
- Wildcard: Rob and Kimberly. They could actually finish higher, maybe win, but I have a feeling he’s the “moron who yells at his wife” for this season and if he is they’ll break down like all the others.
- Duke and Lauren are a rare promising father/daughter team so I mention them but I’m not expecting them any higher.

I am a huge fan of this show. Few people in my country(trinidad)seem to even know about it much.
Top 5 picks are:
Tyler & James – these two just have gone through a hell of alot and look like they can handle alot
Dustin & Candice – these two are like the cheerleaders but a little older and i feel they may be able to keep it together when stress hits
Duke & Lauren – I feel these two are quite level headed.
Erwin & Goodwin – ( I agree about the names)
Peter & Sarah – I am wondering how the handicap will affect some of those challenges ahead but we shall see. I am a little skeptical about this crew. My wildcard
All 5 seem physicaly fit(which is usually 65% of the key to winning this race) and appear to have some common sense.

I was sad to see a double elimination right off the bat, especially the two teams I was originally rooting for (just because they’re unlike a lot of other teams on the show). It would have been interesting to see how Bilal and Sa’eed’s religious devotion would have played into their race and they just seemed like ok guys. And Arti I’ll miss because she was just totally cute.
But I’m with you on the XXXwin brothers and the addicts. I pegged Peter and Sarah for somewhere in the top three but after last night, I’m not so sure.
I was shocked too, especially since the xxxwin bros were almost the first ones eliminated, talk about getting burned on my predictions!
Peter and Sarah; from the quick browse I did I actually thought they were both handicapped so they’ll probably do better than I initially thought. (That doesn’t sound too good but in the context of the game, it’s realistic)
They are both handicapped. He has a severe, untreatable case of diarrhea of the mouth. If he could shut up for just five minutes, then he would be the one person in that couple that I wouldn’t hate.
Mouahahahaha. Absolutely right. (I don’t hate her though)
Well, our opinions always defer. I never understood your fangirl love affair with BJ and Tyler, but I’ve learned to live with that.
Double elimination. I knew I missed something when I stepped out of the room.
I was originally going to root for all the ethnics, but only the Wins are left. You’ve got some pretty safe bets. It’s almost always two guys with an occasional couple. So you’re not going out on a limb with your first two picks. Although I’m not fond of them, it may be the year of the cheerleader. Rob is going to be the man to hate this year. I don’t like how they keep cranking out the same combinations of people.
