Movie On Ze Beach In Cannes

Now on to more serious things. Yeah, right! A few weeks ago Blork and Martine spent some time in San Francisco and Ed kept blogging all the cool stuff they were doing, and I considered blogging from France to get back at him. In the end I didn’t do it, too much trouble blogging from internet cafes. But now I’m back and here’s my answer: movie on the beach at Cannes during the festival!! Huh? Huh? How’s that Ed? This ain’t to stinkin’ Apple Store! I’m kidding, I’m kidding, I love Ed. ;)

You can see the complimentary wool covers to keep warm, the beach chairs to be all comfy and the structure where the screen will be raised a few minutes later.

Ok, the movie was Dawn of the Dead but still, pretty darn cool if I do say so myself. Here’s a shot from the boardwalk and oh, before I forget, one of Pedro Almodovar while he was walking on the red carpet in front of us earlier that day.

[Update] I didn’t realize this, Dawn of the Dead was an official Cannes film, hors compétition!
