Paul Carr with a very good piece on blogging’s impact in Google search results and how blogs should be praised because they can act as filters for those searches.
Not only is he right, but another good point in favor of blogs is reflected by this post on Microdoc News where the first article is annotated, detailed a bit more and examples are given. All from another, unrelated writer. That’s also what weblogging can bring, analysis and opinions on pretty much any subject. They are not all as valid but more than enough are to make the whole very valuable.
Rather than clogging Google search results with blogs, people who seek information should be grateful that blogs come up near the top of many searches. Bloggers are the new librarians, they are there to show you where information is that you are seeking.
