In Blogs are not the only fruit Lee takes a look at the current state of blogs/social soft/personal publishing (whatever you want to call it) and tries to unify those trends in a global view of where online content is going.
Not that much new information but a very good review with some notable statistiques and lots of links to research being done in the field. I thought I’d pull some quotes but really, it’s a whole and if you care about that stuff you should take the time to read it, if only to refresh and remix some ideas.
(He also mentions in passing Technorati which is doing “an excellent job”. Not from where I’m standing! That service has been sucking arse for over a year. I barely ever get a result for “my cosmos” and then it’s slow and weirdly ordered vs what it says it’s representing.)
