Apple announced their new iMac this morning and I’m unsure. I usually love Apple designs at first sight and this one is just ok. If that. Maybe when I see one in person. It’s certainly fun to see such a small desktop but that’s about it.
[Update] Seen almost live in this video it’s definitely looking a lot better. Funny how after only a few years the iPod is popular enough that they now base a Mac’s marketing on it.

I’ve already talked about Flickr’s opening of their application through an API. This here is a very fun use of it, enter a tag or a user name, choose a resolution and voila, background image. Choosing a color as tag filter for example produces nice results.

Hugs and kisses.

When you have nothing to say, a good old Guardian top something list is always a good filler. This time it’s The Top Ten Sci-Fi Films. Sadly, there’s three of them that I haven’t seen but the rest is a pretty good selection. I’d add Ghost in the Shell and/or Akira. I can’t think of others that really deserve a spot more than the ones listed but I might be forgetting something, it’s getting late. Which movie do you think is missing or shouldn’t be there?
ps: MJ, I’m sure you’ll comment, don’t forget the first click is only a preview. :-p

I got nothin’. I’ve gone through my pile of links to blog or read and, well, it’s empty. Nothing to blog so even though I’ve seen only 3-4 movies this year in theaters, I’ll still go through a bunch of trailers and give some useless comments.
Batman Begins looks very good, seems to be done in the appropriate dark style.
Shark Tale could hardly be more copied on Finding Nemo but still seems pretty funny.
Saw I think this is one that might be like 7even, good scary movie that you don’t ever want to see again.
Nicotina, a hacker-heist movie not from the states, sounds good.
Sideways, Criminal and Silver City all feature good “they only get second roles because they don’t have a classic hollywood face” actors. I hope they have success, guys like John C. Reilly deserve first roles.
I read The Motorcycle Diaries last summer, not all that good but very readable, certainly gives an interesting look into what made the Che tick, at least in part. Hope the movie’s good and having Gael García Bernal certainly is a good start.
Finally, Hero is an “old times” martial arts movie with Jet Li, Ziyi Zhang and Maggie Cheung, ‘nuff said.

Karl parle de plusieurs exemples de terrorisme du monde économique et suggère des flash mobs activistes. Bonne idée.
(En passant, belle refonte Karl)

A few days ago I was writing about useless social software and giving Flickr as an exception. Well they’ve added another feature, it’s not specifically social oriented because you could use it simply for yourself as an online photo management tool but it sure is hottt. Check out the demo videos.
