Jenny Levine is on an RSS streak lately with a few interesting posts:

Personnaly I’ve been following a good three times as many weblogs and news sources since I’ve been using NetNewsWire as opposed to the old browser only reading “of old” . I do have some problems thought before I can completely trust that new method.
First, people using Blogger have to use various services to produce the feed and as far as I can tell, it’s not very reliable so I have to go “by hand” to their site to make sure I’m not missing anything. That means I can go less often but it still kind of defeats the purpose.
Second, a lot of the feeds dont show the links within the post so you can read it without noticing the related links the blogger might have included.
Third, in some feeds there is no way of knowing if the post is complete or if it goes on in the site so you either miss it or waste time going to the actual blog just to make sure.
Also, I wish there was a way to access the same list of feeds from different places AND know what you’ve already read from anywhere. I know you can export the list and use it somewhere else but then you’ll just get the same headlines when you get back home. (Although maybe there is something available, I havent done any proper research on it, but I doubt it exists.)
If you ever wondered why Jason is linked to so much, it’s because of posts like this. Thinking up a different angle, a new way of approaching and explaining something that everyone’s been discussing for weeks now.
La date du Kino de Mars est confirmée, c’est le 7 Mars à 19h30. Pour ceux qui ne connaissent pas, c’est;
A voir.
A reporter asks George W. Bush, “What proof do you have that Iraq has weapons of mass destruction?”
George replies, “We kept the receipts.”
I dont read much fantasy anymore but I’ll definetly be in line to see an Elric movie if it gets made. He’s one of my favorite characters ever. Let’s keep our fingers crossed for an interpretation has good as Jackson’s view of LOTR and a better casting choice than Tom Cruise has Lestat.
There I was, feeling kind of sorry for Meg who left Pyra before the big sale to Google and didnt get anything, or so I thought and then I read this;
…said Meg Hourihan, who founded Pyra with Mr. Williams in 1999 and left in 2001 after a dispute over its direction, keeping a stake in the company…I’m very surprised that I didnt hear about this before, people have been wondering how much Evan made on the deal but no one has been mentionning that Meg still had a stake in it.
Results are out for the photobloggies. Congratulations to everyone especially Dawn who wins four with her two sites and Heather who gets three, also with two sites. I’m usually not big on sweeps like that but considering it’s those two I really cant disagree, I go there every day!
