Couldnt have said it better myself.
Covering a bit of everything tech related with a dash of environment and world issues, i.never.nu is written by Patrick Tanguay, a freelance web developer and consultant based in Montréal who also blogs pictures and illustrations at Céboça. ...taken over by means of the sleaziest, low-comedy, Keystone Cops-style coup d’etat imaginable. And those now in charge of the federal government are upper-crust C-students who know no history or geography, plus not-so-closeted white supremacists, aka “Christians,” and plus, most frighteningly, psychopathic personalities, or “PPs.”Funny but, sadly, very valid comments from Kurt Vonnegut in a recent interview. Nick Denton has been talking about what might be a very intriguing new direction in weblogs and the Guardian just did a write up on it. Not sure how much money there can be in that type of endeavour but for the moment it means a couple of very interesting blogs and I’m sure there are a few others on the way, from him and from others.
Lately there have been quite a few posts in various places concerning what should be included in browsers more specifically wether there should be an rss reader in Safari. Personnally I dont want anything but tab navigation added to Safari, if a news reader is added (or any other feature for that matter) I’d prefer if it could be some kind of module that you install only as you need it. For the moment, I’d just be happy with links from NetNewsWire Lite to open in the same browser window instead of a new one each time. If tabs are added to Safari, a control key and / or preference option letting you “send” the link to the same tab or a new one would make it perfect.
I agree completely, come on Steve, lets do this!
Two interesting articles today, featuring a couple of my favorite authors; Chuck Palahniuk and Elmore Leonard. Found both of those on Bookslut, a site I discovered a few weeks ago and added to my daily list last week.
Adam Greenfield comes to an interesting realization concerning all the gizmos that surround us and how, in one way or another, they are all rooted in social interaction. In another entry, inspired by Fabio Sergio, he goes on with something that is related (at least for me); the AORTA concept of always on realtime anywhere and the evolution of the weblog. Very interesting stuff by both these guys.
